Lucy Guadalupe, LAMFT
Scottsdale and Virtual Openings
I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Prepare and Enrich assessments.
Over the past eight years, I have developed a strong passion for working directly with individuals of all ages, as well as couples and families. My professional experience includes working in child education, serving as a suicide crisis responder, and providing therapy in private practice settings. These diverse experiences have deepened my understanding of human attachment, emotional processing, trauma, depression, and anxiety across the lifespan.
My interest in human relationships and experiences grew as I began to recognize the profound impact our emotions, connections, and life experiences have on our daily lives and relationships. Because of this, I believe it is essential to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges and working toward meaningful change.
My therapeutic approach focuses on healing, connection, and personal growth. I strongly believe that becoming the best version of yourself is achievable with the right support, tools, and guidance. I find great fulfillment in helping clients recognize their strengths and empowering them to apply those strengths in their everyday lives. In my work, I strive to remain emotionally present, nonjudgmental, and accepting of every individual who chooses to begin their therapeutic journey with me.
